SUNY New Paltz Environmental Studies Minor
The Spring semester of 2006 launched a new Environmental Studies Minor. An eclectic range of classes will explore the range and severity of the environmental problems facing us: the social, political, cultural and economic forces that have contributed to these problems; the basic scientific and quantitative tools needed to understand these problems; and the range of potential solutions to these problems. The field component/service work required for this minor can be fulfilled at Brook Farm.

College Thesis Program
Work with the Farm to create a project for your college thesis. Spend time volunteering on the farm. Work with your professors, the farm manager, and/or mission leader to discover how you might design and carry out a project. Earn credit for learning about how nature works to provide for us and how you can help restore balance to the planet.
