Brook Farm Project is a 70 acre (5 acres in vegetables), non-profit CSA farm located on the grounds of the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY. Only 90 minutes north of New York City, and 2.5 miles west of the Village of New Paltz, we are nestled at the foot of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge in New York's scenic Mid-Hudson Valley.

We raise vegetables, berries, herbs, and flowers on 5 acres without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. We utilize sustainable farming practices such as crop rotation, cover cropping, and composting, all the while supporting the health of the consumer, the farmer, and the environment.
As a working farm, we demonstrate the value of a agricultural landscape that contributes to the rural character, historic charm and economic base of the region.
As a research facility we host projects designed to explore the ecological, agronomic, social, and economic impacts of sustainable agricultural practices.
As an educational facility we offer a site for field trips, internships and other activities that promote the teaching of sustainable agriculture.
Altogether, the Brook Farm Project seeks to create a food system that thrives economically, environmentally, and socially by fostering the active cooperation of farmers, consumers, students and researchers.
